I remember a crazy story when I used to live in Phoenix - this lawyer got brainworms from eating pork in Mexico. He killed himself by putting his BMW on cruise control while driving on the freeway and then crawling out the sunroof to ride on top. American pork is supposed to be free from trichinosis, so it's interesting that this happened here.

It makes me think of parasitism that makes the victim behave in weird ways, like the one that makes ants clamp onto the end of a blade of grass so they'll be eaten by a sheep. I don't think anyone's going to eat brains off the side of the freeway though.

Drama? They're kinda like Kiwi farms lite (so they like to use slurs and sort of promote harassing people who they think react funnily), and they've started to try to move their userbase offsite to a different site and the admins usually don't like that (unless you're /r/metacanada, then it's cool I guess).
