Chick-fil-a is literally the most overrated restaurant ever in my opinion. I have been multiple times and never been impressed, and I have nothing wrong with chicken, fries, etc. Everyone acts like it's the best place ever and it's really just… not. I've tried the waffle fries and they were lukewarm and nothing special, and the chicken sandwiches have all just been bleh.

Not here lol. In-N-Out is more than most entry options, more than BK, Burger Boy, and McD.
If I want a good burger, I'm going to one of the nicer places near me like Chester's or Chris Madrid's. In-N-Out basically gets no customers here for that very reason.

I would choose Chick Fil A every time over Popeyes. Popeyes is better if it's done right, but the employees at any Popeye's I've been to in recent memory seem to care very little about "doing it right"
Side note: The last time I went to a Popeye's, one of the employees walked up to my car in the drive thru and tried to sell me chicken he had taken from the store at a cheaper price lol

I was working at this place in Minneapolis, and this intersection right next to our building had a different fried chicken restaurant on 3 out of the 4 corners. One of them was a sit down place that was more like a general southern food restaurant and was pretty good, one was a popeye's, and the other one was one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever set foot in. Me and my buddy tried all of them (had to eat somewhere) and really, for fast food chicken, popeyes is pretty frickin solid. No idea how that other place was staying in business right across the street from them, it was NASTY.
