This is a /r/starbucksbaristas thread so expect all comments in lower case, sporadic punctuation and an inability to process feelings
OP is sad because:
we have a new SM/proxy because our SM is at a new store now, and he asked me to draw the sign for the new promo. i was really excited and happy to do it, and it took me most of my shift to complete while i was doing pre-closing tasks. i completed it, and when i came in today, one of my coworkers erased the sign and drew over it. theres one girl who kinda always draws the signs, and i was excited to do it for once and i have a feeling she or one of her friends was the one who did it. i'm not going to lie this might be really petty to be upset about but i'm really sad because they basically said my sign wasn't good enough when i finally got to do it for once. my store has been so cliquey and toxic and i'm starting to get fed up
Basically "I drew on the chalkboard yesterday (during working hours while being paid) and someone else drew over it today"
Subreddit users console her:
tbh you have every right to be upset. regardless of whether they knew who made it or not, it's a shitty and mostly selfish thing to do. who cares if the chalkboard signs aren't artistic masterpieces??
Someone else has the "mature" idea of grassing up their colleague:
More mature approach: Talk to your store manager if you think they'd be able to help the situation
If not, politely address your coworker(s), and tell them that you didn't appreciate that response and it hurt your feelings, really emphasize that it made you feel bad
lol hurt feelings at Starbucks.
Anyway you're probably wondering what OP's masterpiece was?
It was replaced with the equally shit:
Note that neither came close to spelling streusel correctly.
