Kitchenaids suck, they are coasting off their quality from years ago. I bought a professional series one years ago and I've had to take it apart a bunch of times because something went wrong. It couldn't even properly calibrate the height out of the box.
From what I've seen those mixers by that one brand from Sweden are 10x better.
