Happy New Year /h/gaybros.
I'm in need of so I've gone with the tried and true strategy of looking at /r/askgaybros front page where all seethe slowly congeals.
I was not disappointed. Please find a selection of quotes.
I was perma banned from Grindr cause I said no trans in my profile. Sorry I don't want to have sexy time with a chick who thinks she's a dude and has a gash or a dude in a dress with a peepee who thinks he's a chick. Nope no thank you! Scruff is much better about not having trans on there for some reason.
If they are men in dresses then what's the problem? It's a gay app, isn't it?
*If you wanna be a woman so bad stop using an app meant for men.*Grindr has been welcoming trans folks for years now. It's not an app meant for men any longer. Personally I don't lose sleep over it, and block them just as I would for anyone I am not interested in.
Grindr was supposed to be an app for MEN seeking S*x with MEN.
I'm in NYC and I see tons of bio females and men seeking them (may saying "No men!") which really should not be allowed.
'Umm actually it's straight people that are the problem'
And lastly, though no engagement, I thought this was funny:
This sub is being canvassed by disingenuous right-wingers, unfortunately. While I agree that the app needs a better filter to ensure both gay men and trans women have a safer space.
Also lately? Lol.
Anyway, there is a bit more in the thread, including some people being like 'Okay then why can't straight people be included if no one should be barred'? And with no irony, pro-trans posters saying 'it isn't for them'.
