You'll notice that all those comments are from Millennials and Zoomers. These people, like many members of their generations, act like children because they have severely arrested development. Nothing more, nothing less. :marseywhirlyhat:

They didn't grow up in a time and place where being out could be dangerous, they didn't watch their friends die from a horrible, wasting illness, and they certainly weren't "traumatized" by keeping a few details of their personal lives from their parents, something all teenagers do. :marseyamogus:

And you know what? That's a good thing. It's good that they never had to deal with anything genuinely traumatic. But for some insane reason, they all act like it isn't! They've sunk so deep into this idea that "trauma" is a blessing that they've completely failed to realize how blessed they truly are. :marseylgbtflag3:

Youth is wasted on the young. :marseysigh:

It's really just a lack of perspective.

Honestly I am lucky I was gay in the 90s and 2000s. Sure 'that's gay lol' was a punchline but it defintiely beat being gay in the 80s or before where the punchline was AIDs and Stragdrags.

I want to be happy for this new generation not having to deal with any of this but they need to get a grip and get over themselves. Poor things get snagged by 'queer theory' and 'socjus' when they're at their most vulnerable by being promised unconditional acceptance (so long as they think and act like a proper 'queer').

I'd stick with AIDS jokes being popular than whatever we have today.
