CPS ruined my childhood

Locking. /r/CPS is in protest mode, and while this would be a reasonable thread in normal times, this is not about a current issue, and is taking away from what is allowed during this protest.

During this protest, the focus is on active issues and how to solve them, and anything outside of that is subject to removal.

There’s a lib movement in philly to prevent cps from interfering in homes. Basically black people abuse and neglect their children so badly that they need to be removed from the home, and nooooooooticing is very racist, so let them kids cook.

My little sister had to work with CPS in a couple different states and has never had anything good to say about them. They're basically all unqualified social workers with Jesus complexes and a guilty untill proven innocent mentality. Imagine letting the people that post on childfree and raisedbynarcissists have the ability to frick over families and that's basically what CPS has become. Decent people lose their kids by acting in good faith and participating while the real shit heels stonewall and generally use their rights to keep CPS out.

It's a huge problem because we obviously need that system but anybody decent and competent leaves in disgust in like a year. The whole thing needs a purge with serious checks almost to the point of not letting anyone who wants the job to be allowed to do it without psych checks.
