That 3 point IQ increase per decade would be faster than the IQ drop that would occur from a small number of immigrants moving in, and more often than not, the immigrants that are permitted into the 1st world are actually well educated.

The problem would generally occur if the 1st world has a bad quality immigration policy where they are taking in the dumbest immigrants with an average IQ of 60 or 70.

As long as they are taking in people with an IQ of 90 and above, within 3-4 decades the immigrant population should reach parity with the population of the nation state they moved to.

However, some research suggests that 1st world nation states are declining in IQ. The likely culprit then is more likely to be the loss of attention span among the populace over time due to the internet and social media rather than immigrants coming in and making everybody dumb.

Immigrants should also end up culturally integrating over 2-3 generations, so as long as the immigrant population is not from any one specific community we can expect all immigrant populations to culturally assimilate with the new nation state population.

The primary issue appears to be in regards to religious assimilation as people tend to hold on to their religious identities and values more strongly than any other identities even when they move to a new nation state.

Due to this, the safest bet for a nation state dependent on immigrants is to take in immigrants from nation states with the same religion, or from nation states that are very liberal and religious restrictions are very lax.

Which is why middle eastern nation states are the worst source of immigrants for the first world.

The best source of immigrants would be North Africa, Russia, India, South America, and East Asia. Of these South America remains the most ideal source and we can expect South America to become the primary source of immigrants for Europe and North America in the years ahead.
