Anyone who takes this story at face value is r-slurred.

Actual disgruntled staffers are never the primary source at an establishment like Wapo unless there's significant comment and pushback included from the White House. They're more likely to leak stories to some podunk obscure online publication that won't gain traction unless the story is a bombshell; so, "my boss is exacting" won't even reach the ears of normies 99% of the time. It's also why - despite employing thousands, some of whom are statistically likely to be crazies — it's surprisingly rare for the inner workings of the west wing to get leaked so thoroughly.

This is a purposeful leak orchestrated by the campaign to spin a narrative. It happens all the time, mostly in a perfunctory "we hear a big article is coming out about you, get the PR team to brief them something juicy to distract them that I'm willing to have be public". Harris's team has either wholesale invented these claims to paint Kamala in a particular light or they've encouraged a real complaint to get published because it also happens to make her look good. This is not organic
