I swear in the past these kinds of ads were framed more like "Hi! I'm Alice and I'm supporting Kamala Harris because etc. etc. will you consider donating?"
And this time around the ads purport to be from the actual candidates.
Now I'm not going to pretend that in the past "Alice" was an actual real person sending me a personal message or anything, but at least it sorta could be kinda believable.
Its crazy that they use real names but try to seem like its really them sending a personal text when its like hitting mass send on Messenger and is annoying and scammish!
