Since they dragged it out until after primary ballots were cast, they didn't really have many options. It was either just select Kamala or a contested convention, and imo the latter would have been even more divisive.

that felt infinitely less fake and manufactured than now. hillary wasn't a candidate who got so destroyed in the primaries she dropped out in shame and then was picked to be the next candidate anyway, with zero people voting for her to be the candidate, because she's not white. hillary was an all time level bad candidate but it never felt like this to me. even POKEMON GO TO THE POLLS felt more real/organic than anything kamala has said/done.
