My Uber driver last night is an ex-CIA interpreter from Afghanistan who got brought to the US after the Taliban took over. He did not think very highly of Biden. He told me that he looks forward to Trump ending the Taliban after he gets elected.

I didn't ask him to elaborate, I don't like to talk politics with strangers. He was a very interesting person though, and he was definitely educated.

Because the default state of the US is war and you are actually living in unnatural times where the US is not in an active war zone fighting a full scale war. Next US war will almost certainly happen after the Ukraine Proxy war dies down.

You just proved in your statement that the US can invade a place multiple times. Although I agree that the US is unlikely to invade Afghanistan, it's just easier to watch them fail on their own and they are too far away to be a threat to the US anyways.

I expect the US to invade Iran as a pro Israel defense war or to invade some state in Africa that is strongly aligned with China right now.
