Unironically a good thing for the global poor. Trads are insane if they think a constant average of 5+ children per woman is sustainable in a world where childhood mortality has dramatically declined (not saying that sub-replacement fertility is a good thing either). Smaller families also means the kids have more resources and a better shot at being educated.
