Hey fighters! I'd like for us to begin organizing our own weeekly tournaments to get more engagement for our hole.
Rules are as follows:
Every thursday a fundraising thread will be held, where all donaters get to nominate one game.
The following friday a voting thread with the nominations will be held. In case of any ties the game with more donater votes wins. So even if someone else nominates the game you want, you should still contribute to the prize pool.
The tournament itself will be held on saturday, 5pm EST as that shouldn't be too late for euros like me or too early for Americans and Brazilians. Sign ups at 3pm at the lastest, make a challonge account.
I'm thinking about making a youtube account for this so the tournament can be broadcast in our rDrama chat. So if you nominate a game, you should be willing to host a livestream in case I don't have it.
Is this a good or bad idea, what do you guys think?

Great frickin idea. Also games don't have to be limited to true fighting games bear in mind, more then down for whatever 1v1 shit is on fightcade. I'm pretty sure it has stuff like puzzle fight. Another point in favor for fightcade is anonymity and the fact most people will be very unfamiliar with stuff on there.
Once a month is probably right unless interest is high which I doubt it will be, make it the monthly tournament of the week.
I wonder if there is a fair way to do an escrow account for DC
