Movie critics have fetal alcohol syndrome. They're not wrong here, the movie is bad, but they're wrong about why it's bad.
Biggest problem with Don't Worry Darling is that thousands and thousands of people would be lining up to be legal participants in this simulation, and no one would need to make a criminal enterprise out of it. A simulation that realistic would need to be made illegal, China-style, just to stop society from collapsing from too many willing participants getting addicted to it, but there's nothing in the movie that indicates such a thing happened.
