Reminder if you don't watch movies in theaters this holiday season you hate cinema and should stop watching it. About to watch Violent Night, prolly gonna be shit but who cares.
Also Glass Onion last week was super kino, absolutely a pleasure to watch on the big screen.
My local Cinemark is absolutely shillworthy, I will do it for free. Every single theater has recliners and the rewards program has great value. Anyone else love their theater? What are you seeing this holiday season?

Old roommate paid for a bunch of college friends to go see Glass Onion together last weekend, and it was sooo good. It and Knives Out have made me genuinely hopeful for Hollywood for once in my life, as r-slurred and sappy as that is to say.

I wasn't expecting too much since I haven't seen Knives Out, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. Impeccable writing and many great performances. Netflix must be trapped into contracts paying people based off streaming that they can't renegotiate, because they left hundreds of millions on the table not doing a full theatrical run. For what it's worth, I thought that what I just saw (Violent Night) was also very fresh.

I only see a couple of movies a year in the cinema, I saw Top Gun 2 this year and I might see Avatar 2. I only find the big screen worth it for big movies with a lot of spectacle.
