Thank god Nolan ditched Zimmer this time. Oppenheimer has the best soundtrack in recent years for me :marseyjamming: :marseyjam:.

I found Zimmer's score for Dune to be meh. That guy isn't bringing his A-game even for big name directors these days .

Absolutely. Few things,

1. It's not a film about the science of the bomb or purely about its development. So STEMcels looking for a "Science is awesome" kind of movie will be disappointed. Mentioning this as this seemed to be a frequent complaint.

2. The entire film is like one extended montage. It's like this scene from JFK (but maybe not as fast paced) but extended for 3 hours. If you dislike that style, you'll probably not like this movie.

Such a cheesy movie though

It was like 2 hr and 50 minutes of boring political bullshit and 10 minutes of a mediocre explosion that lacks a sense of scale

Tbh I forgot this movie even had a soundtrack, it didn't stand out during viewing like Zimmer's did.

Might give it a separate listen though, maybe I just didn't pay attention

Dude what, the soundtrack is almost jarring at points. In the buildup to the test scene it was loud and persistent
