Yeah that was the worst part of it by far the last time I was there, scheduling shit was lame as frick (not sure if thats still how it is). didnt even get to do splash mountain, it was like a 3 hour wait and had no reservations that i ever saw

No its fricking worse, as when it was free you'd see them stop the fastpass line or have good enough control over it that the ftp line wouldn't be standing there constantly. Now with the Genie+ you'll see the real line stopped while everyone who paid in goes passed you.

I guess it wasn't a thing when I was there, the whole system was just fricked up and confusing though. idk who came up with it but they should be fired and shot

The amazing part is every other park that has had paid line cutting has never been this shitty. Like Universal and Six Flags make that shit work, it still sometimes looks worth it, without being seethe causing. Its like Disney looked at the gacha jpeg market and said lets do that.

I always get a fast pass, otherwise I don't think it'd even be worth paying admission for most of those places. Definitely not going back to Disney anytime soon, they had cool shit but it was just a mess like you say. I can't think of a reason to go as an adult without kids, which is probably how it should be lmao but still I think they try to appeal to adults on their own now as well

The Star Wars area was almost really cool, they did a really "OK" job on it. I think something that wasn't sequel tied would have gone better. The most fun I have had at Disney in 15 years was Epcot's Food and Wine festival.

:marseychonker2:

I did think the Rise of The Resistance was amazing, and they actually managed to pull all the stops out for it. They did a good job using the trackless cars, and all of the tech, but its still a mistake that the area has two rides.

Actually sounds fun for rich people. Maybe make more money?

You still need to jump through hoops, its not just a ptw, its more like ptwing in a ftp gacha game. You're still getting fricked by the system, you just paid money for it.

my heart is telling me Dude right??? There  should :marseynorm: be a seperate line to pay for entry for people whos time is worth too much to stand in line for hours for one ride

100%, OG fast pass was the shit

add to that the prices are insanely inflated and it's just not the same. I'm sure it's still doing fine though don't get me wrong

They took a major hit from Covid, of course. Don't know if the numbers have returned, but that's a couple of years where their primary income was drastically down.
