For me it was an intercontinental flight where my young self just watched the same episode of Ed, Edd, and Eddy over and over again because it was the only thing on there I liked.

I watched Fullmetal Jacket for the first time on an airplane. The ending stuck with me the whole rest of my trip. Heartwrenching movie.

@KinoKlaus really liked the beginning of that movie, primarily the whole boot camp arc. But the last 2/3rds were way too long and unearned

Obviously iconic aesthetic and many memorable scenes and lines, but it didnt hit for @KinoKlaus

Legitimately think it wouldve made a much better 6-8 episode HBO show like Band of Brothers (2001)

I actually agree with you it would have been better as a show. I just got super attached to the characters so I loved the movie anyway but the pacing def was off in the last bit

For me it was 2018, going to Stockholm, Sw*den :marseyflagswedenpat:

Watched that Jonah Hill movie, The Sitter (2011)

A mix of alcohol, confined space, artificial air pressure, and n*ordic passengers led too a unique experience

The movie wasn't even good, but for some reason @KinoKlaus absolutely couldn't stop laughing. Like the flight attendant stopped by multiple times and asked if @KinoKlaus was OK. @KinoKlaus was in tears and couldn't breathe for 1-3 minute periods
