see this is where I disagree.. wealth isn't dollar amount, real wealth isn't in monetary form it's in the form of resources and significant influence over powerful forces. Think "make this happen in exchange for this" where then it moves down several hierarchies before "money" even becomes relevant. On the scale of nations money doesn't buy shit, it doesn't actually mean anything.
