And what Red_Shill said is right. They basically reworked the entire premise after filming began. The original script didn't even have Daredevil appear in costume until the fourth episode.

But it's supposed to be him coming out of retirement after the first one I think. I haven't seen the first one and don't really like capeshit tbh, I've just been enjoying watching Disney implode

It was a decent show imo. Worst part was the no killing shit, but in season 2 they introduced punisher who basically was daredevil without the no killing cute twinkry.
It has been ages since I watched it, but iirc season 3 had a decent conclusion so idk why they would make another one. (Well of course cause money but still)
