West Wing isn't 80s but nails the yuppie/PMC view of politics prior to recent events.

Weird, just today I was practicing my rant about West Wing fans (people ask me if I've watched it and I don't have a polite response). (it's not that coincidental, I practice a lot of rants in case I ever go to a psych)
West Wing continues the actual ethos but is far from what a 2024 West Wing fan would consider a cliche yuppie, I'm trying to lean more into the latter.

Yeah I realize you were going for more satirical depictions with your list but
my mom was an actual 80s yuppie and everyone in her circles from NYC genuinely love it. 
Sorkin style dialogue with witty quips and impromptu diatribes is generally spot on for how they see themselves.
