Josephine's costumes were pretty good although the fabric choices seemed off for 2 or 3 gowns (the silhouette was still correct). The main problem was her hair. She wore it down for most of the movie. This isn't Bridgerton, it should be UP 
Also I watched the opening scene like 12 times. Is something wrong me? Should I leave now for WPD?

The real problem with it isn't how long it is, but how short it is. You can't cover all that military history in one movie and shoehorn in some relationship drama on top of it. Incredibly shallow movie.

I think this is what you have to keep in mind. Replace Joaquin with a competent actor, tighten up the script a bit and mention the Louisiana Purchase and you have a solid 8-9/10 movie.
