It’s not the first time it’s been going on for years. It makes no difference to me that a group who think they are “enlightened” (or whatever they think they are) obviously feels threatened by the Kirk character. It’s a character from a 1960’s TV show- get over it.😉🤣 https://t.co/0QLH8HBc2O pic.twitter.com/ZR3vevL0U9

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but leaving out the single most iconic character can't be an oversight. Its a dumb decision too because its much more conspicuous by its absence. If they wanted to murk him without making it obvious they should have just stuck him on on the end between a ferengi and a tribble.

Yeah it's honestly bizarre, like they should at least replace him with Uhara or something so they have the excuse of doing it for diversity points. Putting Spock in instead of Kirk though obviously reflects some sort of decision to try to memoryhole Kirk, either because the character is considered problematic or because Shatner is.

@Redactor0 think it's the typical delusional business r-slur decision that they have too expand the audience by pandering too some new demographic.
These people have never seen the show so all they know is memes about how Kirk has lots of s*x. They figure they can appeal too wokies who feel threatened by male sexuality by cutting him out. So they're throwing out all their existing fans chasing after a much smaller niche audience.
@Redactor0 love sucking peepees and it's hilarious that wokies don't understand normal women do too.
