Recommend Watchable TV Shows (no anime)

Most of my recommendations are gonna be old, so deal with it, whippersnapper.

People will argue "Gunsmoke vs. Bonanza" 'til they're blue in the face, but Have Gun – Will Travel and Rawhide smoked 'em both.

Hill Street Blues and Homicide: Life on the Street are wildly different series, but they're also the only cop shows you really need.

All in the Family was alright, but the Jeffersons were always more interesting than the Bunkers. So go watch The Jeffersons. (Insert Sherman Hemsley Marsey Here. Artcels, get on it. )

Friends was a terrible show. Don't watch it. Watch the show it ripped off, Living Single, instead.

MasterChef Junior is cute kino. I just love watching those little tykes cook their hearts out. And hey, there's something modern!

Kids these days only know about the ending, but St. Elsewhere was a great show. Still the best medical drama ever made.

I haven't watched Taxi in a long time, but Andy Kaufman was being based before most of the people on this website were even born, and I'm still not sure he didn't fake his death. In fact, he might be... literally me.

That should be enough to be getting on with. Oh, just one more thing...
