Veteran US actor Gary Graham has died aged 73 on Monday, his family has confirmed.

Best known for his role in Star Trek: Enterprise, the actor's family chose not to publicly share the cause of death, only explaining that it was “sudden”.

His ex-wife Susan Lavelle revealed the news in a Facebook post paying tribute to her former partner.

Unironically sad. :marseysad: He was a great actor and played a great character. !trekkies

When I was in my early twenties on a trip to East Africa I saw a gazelle giving birth. It was truly amazing. Within minutes the baby was standing up, standing up on its own. A few more minutes and it was walking and before I knew it, it was running alongside its mother, moving away with the herd. Humans aren't like that, Ambassador. We may come from the same planet as those gazelles but we're pretty much helpless when we're born. It takes us months before we're able to crawl. Almost a full year before we can walk. Our deep space mission isn't much different. We're going to stumble, make mistakes, I'm sure more than a few, before we find our footing. But we're going to learn from those mistakes. That's what being human is all about. I'm sorry you can't see that.

I lived on Earth for more than thirty years, Commander. In that time, I developed an affinity for your world and its people.

RIP. Great character, loved how he went from Archer's adversary to ally over the course of the 4 seasons.

I think I only watched the first season of that one.

I just remember being annoyed that the ONE asian character was a jap foid but was played by a gook foid.

Look I can overlook Harry Kim being played by a Chinaman because Garret Wang is a cool guy and because Chakotay was just some random fricking guy making up Native American bullshit and it was the 90s, but Entreprise was a post 9/11 production so they should have done better :marseyindignantgook:

I demand a whole new Star Trek where Harry Kim is Admiral with Tom Paris but only they get transported to the Delta Quadrant and they have to get their way back as two old Admirals in a run down Voyager as compensation.

Season 1 is pretty ordinary, like every Trek series except TOS. Season 2 had some quality outings, and Season 3 was solid.

Season 4 was absolute kino. :marseychefkiss:

It's a shame it was cancelled when when the show was in its prime.

Have to agree. As long as it's not Archer * dying I don't really care about the ENT crew. Not their fault, cause the series was doomed by the writers, but it was just boring - only at the very end it showed potentially but was then cancelled. I probably have a hard time getting the whole crew together, reappearing characters (like this guy) I would definitely fail at.

* Had T'Pol here as well, but then I remembered the romance arc with the engineer and removed her.

Sad indeed, I liked him in the TV series of "Alien Nation" and in Trek.

Maybe you should go talk to some psychologists before offering an option. First off, it's obvious that your only exposure to kink has been through porn. There's nothing wrong with a naked body, it just provides a teachable moment. Kids in Europe are exposed to way more nudity than the kids in the US, and they turn out fine.

Kink is not sexual abuse, but you're trying to equate the two because that's YOUR current understanding of what kink is, which is wrong. There's nothing wrong with a child seeing someone in bdsm get up, you just have to explain that some adults like dressing up in costumes. Kinksters at Pride are not engaged in s*x acts, and you shouldn't confuse their self-expression with obscenity.
