I always thought stargate looked super cringe and low budget when it aired so I never bothered with it.
But because pretty much every current science fiction show is such fricking dogshit garbage I gave it a shot a few years ago and I enjoyed it. it reminded me a little bit of 90's era trek; just more militarized and actiony.
They just don't make ‘em like they used to anymore.
