!commenters, I just saw the last episode. It ends on a whimper and leaves out the more interesting parts of that country's history.

No, I'll never read the novel (:marseysick:) because it seems really fake and straight. Anjin comes off as a weak-willed bug, constantly changing his allegiances, having no idea how to deal with his emotions nor with his actions. He just flaps his arms around like a big gaijin r-slur :hysterical:, and if that's the point, then .

Show me the (fake) history of someone worthy or who at least has testicles. People need to demand more than this milquetoast Netflix shit. Series like this is similar to the goyslop phenomena or why commercials are so vapid: half of the country is r-slurred.

Anyway, there should be a season 2 where he gets trampled by a horse, so we get to move on to the stories of the big players of that era.

Holy fricking Reddit. You're an r-slur looking for big gay battle sequences in a character study about individual people in a singular situation. Did you clap when game of thrones turned into le epic dragon pwnage

I wasn't asking for battle scenes. Stay seething.
