How was Furiosa?

Thinking of seeing it. Fury Road was one of the best movies I've ever seen. I think directing/editing has reach a peak in recent years, movies like Fury Road and Dune 2 are able to fill hours while never feeling boring or overwhelming.

I completely forgot this film is releasing. Not enough annoying marketing (at least in Poland).

Also, apparently people on our biggest film portal are not happy with it:

Comments are 90% people upset that Mad Max is not in it.

The famous Mad Max with Mel Gibson, which was once a symbol of masculinity, was turned into feminist pulp, i.e. a woman is supposed to be a symbol of masculinity... blah blah, I want to vomit from these movies, what the heck is this... they are destroying the whole thing in this way an idea I don't even want to see.

lol, there is so much of this there, and it's not even out in Poland.

Is this wokesneed or is the movie actually bad? I don't care if it's not realistic that a little girl could beat up Chris Hemsworth, i just want to see pimped out muscle cars crashing and exploding

I don't know and these people don't know either because it's not out in Poland until tomorrow.

Filmweb is an immensely fertile battleground for culture war shit, so the comments are not an indication of anything. They are just funny.

I asked my local LLM to write the review based on the above review

I was underwhelmed by the new film 'Furiosa', which attempts to reimagine the Mad Max franchise with a female lead. Unfortunately, this feminist twist falls flat.

The story is heavy-handed and preachy, with characters that feel like cardboard cutouts rather than fully fleshed-out people. The action sequences are few and far between, and when they do arrive, they're marred by poor editing and confusing choreography.

But the biggest problem I had was with the CGI. It's laughable how poorly rendered some of the visual effects are, with characters and vehicles looking like they were ripped straight from a PlayStation 2 game. It's clear that the budget for CGI was severely lacking, and it detracts from an already lackluster film.

Overall, I was disappointed by 'Furiosa' and felt like it wasted the potential of its unique premise. Instead of a fresh take on the Mad Max universe, we get a shallow rehashing of familiar themes with little depth or nuance."
