I started watching the new Connections they made sometime last year. Still with James Burke, although he's old af so it's basically him talking in front of a green screen with a ton of CGI and some reenactments.
Most of the episodes are decent, and similar to the original, although like Connections 2 and Connections 3 the actual connections are far more tenuous. But near the end of each episode it goes off the fricking rails into some absurd futurism shtick. Like one episode was ending talking about these really cool nanomachines that we've made that can rearrange singular atoms, which is neat, but then he extrapolates it to basically be the magic fabricators from Star Trek and how they'll herald in a post-scarcity world, as if manually arranging atoms is in any way an efficient way to mass produce foodstuffs.

We were watching Breaking Bad until this old guy snitched on us and they said we can't watch a show about dealing drugs while we're getting over our addictions.
So then we watched Better Call Saul. Which was pretty good for awhile but eventually I just couldn't relate to any of the characters because they're lawyers.
I watched Civil War and Furiosa. Neither really impressed me.

I wanted to like this show but it was way too up in down in quality. Started out well but late into the first season Will Forte's character became way too unlikable. They altered his character for season 2 and it was significantly better. The plots went to shit though when they introduced the babies to the series. I don't think I even bothered with season 4 after that.
Finished Fallout. Vault-techs reasoning was really stupid and kind of soured me on it.
Also watched The Fall Guy and found it borderline unwatchable. I think a lot of the reviewers/commenters were too kind with it trying to really sell the theaters are dying despite good movies are being released narrative.

I've been watching Billions. Season 1 was pretty fun. Just started Season 2. Besides the bald female they/them autism-girl-bossing her way around its been interesting.
Everyone's lives in Billions would be so much easier if they all just made a joint-pact to kill Wendy.

That's like a historical k-drama except gay and r-slurred and the costumes aren't nearly as good.

I still like it. You're wrong about costumes though, they're good.
