The Boys could literally make a season where Homelander gets sent back in time to Nazi Germany times, where he sees Soldier Boy in WWII, freaks out and kills him in front of the Nazis who applaud him. Homelander is shocked but goes along with the Nazis until a Nazi Superhero makes some Ubermensch German speech and Homelander snaps and starts killing Nazis and goes "I'M ALL AMERICAN BABY" and replaces Soldier Boy after killing Nazis and leads Patton towards killing the Soviets because he's from the future knows what the Soviet Union is and better to snuff that baby in the crib now when he is the sole superpower supe and just kills Nazis, Commies and bigots to create the United States of Homelander and then he returns back to his original timeline and he begs to go back and then realizes he can just repeat what he did today and begins planning his Imperial States of Homelander as a cliffhanger.

I liked that uber progressive woman who said their buzzwords and was heaped with praise, until of course "omgherd she's a Nazi!!!"

They should've leaned harder into that character and been more subtle, but obviously they didn't want to make fun of progressives because west coast writers are s.

I really enjoyed the first season, but each one after that became corny with a libtard streak.

You don't think that A-train experienced racism at all before this season? The whole arc with Bluehawk? Everything with Stormfront? A-train has always been a complex character. He's awful, and he's caused so much pain and unnecessary death. But he's also a victim. They all are. Homelander has been abused by the system that raised him. Starlight was sexually assaulted in the first (second? I forget) episode. A-train has been dealing with micro aggressions (and macro aggressions) during the whole show.

Seriously, this show was perfectly setup to make fun of people like this, but then it catered to them.

The comics were miles better and had they been adapted 1 to 1 the show would actually be good.
