For some reason Alicent doesn't call the guards and let her go despite her being paranoid about Rhaenyra murdering her children for years and for all she knows Rhaenyra had her grandson killed

And what Rhaenyra was going to propose anyway? 2 princes are dead! Aegon II is not going to make peace with the woman he believes killed his son. And the greens killed Lucerys, why isn't she angry about it? Daemon should have choked that b-word harder.
There's also Rhaenys with the "Otto wouldn't send assassins" when back in season 1 the first thing Otto proposed at the small council meeting after Viserys death was to send knights to Dragonstone to kill Rhaenyra. Rhaenys also said something like "men want to shed blood" while she killed like a hundred commoners during her girlboss moment at the Dragonpit.
