I put it on in the background when I was working just expecting it to be some r-slurred slop I could lol at based on what I heard, I was surprised the first few episodes are actually unironically really good. I am strongly anti-capeshit but humans vs. corrupt superheroes is a great premise. Reminds me kinda of Terminator 1 (the best one) with the inherent tension of lone humans vs. unstoppable killing machine they have no fricking chance against, and the show establishes itself as cynical enough early on that you really don't know if the protagonists are gonna win a thing
Starts to go to shit pretty fast of course. Almost considered looking into the comic but I heard Butcher has superpowers in the comic which completely kills any interest I had. Also that Garth Ennis guy sounds like he's mentally 13 years old
