No, but the problem with the Alien franchise is that they keep repeating the same formula (Weyland-Yutani ship goes to spooky planet/moon/station after receiving a message) with the same monster over and over. Prometheus had a stupid crew but at least they tried something new introducing the space jockeys/engineers, I wish the latter films had explored more of that.

The one complaint I have is that they don't make the cities futuristic enough.
Look at the pictures of places from a hundred years ago compared to today. It's a complete overhaul.

Alien Romulus is set in 2142.
That's approx 120 years in the future. You would
have had global landscapes and urban centers evolve 4 times by then.
