i've maintained that the show fell off immediately in season 2 when they tried to downplay girlboss trash then simultaneously reveled in it like a pig in shit. Redditors are too goddarned stupid to understand the showrunners were already talking out of both sides of their mouth that early. It only got worse from there as Starlight became the paragon of virtue while simultaneously being a absolute b-word harpy who refused to acknowledge her own faults and was celebrated for it. Combine all this with the most unsubtle current year libtard talking points shoved in your face nearly every episode and the quality fell off a cliff.
