Where did the talking point "U.S. let wing is actually right wing in Europe" start? It seems like not only it has captured the imagination of the millennials and zoomers, but also the hippies in their 70s.

Is this another thing I can blame on the hippies, that their fantasy world has once again leaked to the real world, causing damage in its wake?
