I saw Twister 2 in cinema. I'll finish a post about it sometime, it was good.

American Sniper is lame and is very tryhard in trying to appear cool and masculine.

13 Hours was good, frick KKKillary KKKlinton

Speaking of KKK, started Black Klansman but couldn't finish it, too boring. It almost made me like KKK because it was just a group of guys who meet up to hang around together saying BIPOC a lot and inspecting each others' peepees for cut marks to make sure they're not jews, without hurting anyone. I really liked the scene where the jewish cop was trying to shoot the black cop while shouting that he's a "black piece of shit BIPOC". All in all it felr like the police department specifically chose the people least suitable for the infiltration

Thief was kinda mid but had good sountrack

Also rewatched Terminator 2 and I don't remember the last time I had this much fun watching a movie

I saw Twisters as well.

(Spoilers of course)

I did like the concept of "From the corporate sponsor group's perspective, Billy and Jo were just a bunch of redneck hillbillies" but they had to crank it to 10 and inject the modern-day YouTube Personality into it. I'm glad they didn't slowly and carefully spell out "We do the outrageous stunts for ad revenue, which is then used to help the people affected by the tornados"

But I still had some issues with the movie, including

  • Of course we needed the capitalist fatcat is bad man because he's buying all their property at rock-bottom prices. These people didn't have insurance, so it's either his money or literally nothing.

  • What is fatcat's motivation for buying a bunch of random tenth-acre plots all across Oklahoma? How is he making money off this?

  • This takes place in the same universe as Twister 1, as evidenced by Dorothy. If Dorothy worked, why is there still no warning?

  • Nooooooo we can't go search for the expensive military equipment on loan to us being used to gather data to save lives before its battery runs out, we need to go help the handful of fieldbeans who lost their trailer today!

  • I mean she totally stole his company truck for like, two straight days.

  • Seriously, we're expected to believe that people in modern day rural Oklahoma have no idea how to properly respond to a tornado threat?

  • Like the 1996 film, tornados are an independent physical object that arrive, maybe ten seconds of rain, frick shit up, then disappear into a clear blue sky moments after feeling up the blonde lead actress. You can also still walk up to within 50 feet of them, unaffected. They're essentially black holes; stay a foot away from the event horizon and you're fine. Fly a drone right up to it, no problem.

Also the seat I picked ended up being directly under the bright green test LED on the exit sign, and the fat b-word in front of me had her hair in a topbun and kept leaning forward because she's fat.

[A photo I cannot find right now, I swear one day I'll sort through all my jaypegs but I fear I lost a whole bunch by mistake]

Frame 1: T1000, dressed as a cop: "He's a good-looking boy. Do you mind if I keep this picture?"

Frame 2: Foster parents, looking uncomfortable at this request
