Twink on the left gets a time-traveling radio that belongs to Most Generic Korean Ajusshi on the right, and stuck in the middle is Korean Emily Blunt from Sicario and together they solve cold cases that the cops in the 80s and 90s were simply too fricking lazy to solve at first but was to cover up Chaebol/Political frickywuckys.
This is a 6.5-7 out of 10. Hard stop. Anyone saying this is a 8 or 9 is a fricking gookaboo and should be slapped and their opinion disregarded.
The story is fine. Its engaging, and interesting enough once you figure out the gimmick. Funnily pretty accurate to the Gook detectives I've met. They get so annoyed IRL when they have to do actual legwork and can't just take free gifts and bribes.
Its just every time Korean Emily Blunt from Sicario tries to be a cop, she fricks up so baaaaaaaaaaad. Multiple times in fact! Not even as a rookie! As a legitimate multi-decade veteran too!
Its actually infuriating.
It literally justifies why Gook Police used to shun foid officers in the field. In fact, it will justify any prejudices most people hold against foid cops. Shits that infuriating.
Honestly, I think this kdrama actually made me a bit more misogynist through Korean Emily Blunt.
6.75/10
Watch it with someone who thinks women belong in the police forces!
