Freefolktards seething
Abigail Thorn. Way to just pull me completely out of the scene…. Don't get me wrong, I don't care that a MtF in the context of medieval fantasy makes essentially zero sense. But Abagail is so jarringly bad at acting (not to mention the hours I've watched of her) that I can't take any scene with her seriously.
Yikes, very problematic
>season 1 builds up for the Dance of the Dragons
>season 2 is all filler and build up, no war happens
>not a single Daeron scene, just 5 seconds showing Tessarion
>no Nettles
> "actor" (Philosophy Tube) shows up as admiral
>another pointless Rhaenyra/Alicent meeting
>Daemon goes "muh queen"
>next season is 2 years from now

Bizarre/jarring train appearance aside, that was yet another boring as frick episode. I don't want to come back to it in two years. It's officially a bad show that over two seasons only had a few fairly cool scenes and one really dope one.
That was the kind of season you can only make when your job is guaranteed next year. In the old network TV days, a season that boring and uneventful that ends on such a "whatever" note would probably get the show canceled.

Aparently they're trying to spin a whole TV series out of a couple of chapters from a reference book.
Next Season on HBO: War & Peace: Dramatis Personae - Join an AI recreation of Sir Peter Ustinov OBE as he reads the list of characters from Tolstoy's epic novel over 24 episodes spanning 3 seasons. Episode 17 features his repeated attempts to pronounce Pelageya Danilovna Melyukova after a hearty lunch and a whole bottle of port before hurling the book through the window and declaring the eponymous character a "c*nt".

Boring filler season. I'll spoil the book for you in a nutshell. Rhaenyra and the blackcels take Kings Landing, then she goes full r-slur and the people rise up against her after Helaena kills herself, they storm the dragonpit and kill the dragons. Her younger son decides to ride her Dragon Syrax and Syrax throws him out as the kid is not her rider. Then Syrax lands among the smallfolk who kill her. Daeron dies, Jace dies, the dragonseeds are turncoats and die, Daemon and Aemond die on a dragonbattle over the God's Eye.
Rhaenyra flees Kings Landing to Dragonstone with her younger kids (Daemon's children) and finds Aegon and a wounded Sunfyre. Sunfyre eats Rhaenyra and Aegon returns to KL as king. Sunfyre dies and for some reason Aegon can't hatch any dragon eggs anymore.
Then Aegon is poisoned, Cregan Stark takes the capital and does a cleansing and Rhaenyra's son is proclaimed Aegon III.
There's more to it but in a nutshell that's it.
The end.

So I listened to a couple of videos last night to get more backstory because i haven't read the various fake history books and spinoffs, and now I'm wondering why they're showing us a story about this when they could have made a show about Maegor aka The Realm's Delight

I wrote twice on this site than a Maegor's reign miniseries would be KINO
Reminder that Aenys was an r-slur and Visenya was based trying to warn him and taking it into her hands.
Maegor was evil but he putted the Faith of the Seven cucks in their due place which was a net benefit for the Targaryen Dynasty.

It helps that I love reading history books, but yeah, for the fans who prefer reading the main ASOIAF novels, F&B is incredibly dull.
