It was pretty good. They did really well with the practical effects and minimal cgi, and it worked well considering that Dark Crystal as an IP was always more niche or weird. It even managed to win an emmy. Then Netflix, in their infinite wisdom, decided that because a show with solid writing and all of the props already made underperformed a little bit in the first season (as shows tend to do, and will especially do when marketing is zero to none) and axed it. In favor of, idk, Resident Evil or Cowboy Bebop. I think Cuties ( ) might have come after this? A complete mongoloid move.

It's like four years old at least now and worth a view if you can handle something kid/family friendly. I love Jim Henson puppets and it's more whimsical than all the other fantasy getting produced.
