This is actually really cool. Looks like he's using compressed air and a showerhead nozzle to get much better atomization than a typical flamethrower, which is why the combustion is so much faster and creates enough pressure to blow down planks of wood. But he's still using liquid fuel so he can get the range of a flamethrower rather than a propane torch.
I'm pretty sure WW2 flamethrowers used compressed N2 and thickened diesel. I wonder if this dude is using a different atomizer thats better for entertainment and not smoking Japs?
Another fun fact: Palmitic acid is the "-palm" in "napalm" and you can buy 50 pounds of it for under 200 bucks.

You can buy naphthenic acid but you'd need to call suppliers for a quote. Tell them you're making wood varnish for your DIY YouTube channel.

You can also smoosh styrofoam into a jar of gasoline but it's very gooey and I don't think it would be good for pushing through a tube.
