Are you fricking kidding me? Could Adam Sandler make fun of anything better than zoomers? I never got it. He was not funny on SNL, goes from there to make more and more not funny movies.
One time at an estate sale I found the complete works of Adam Sandler (up to that time) all shrink-wrapped nice and tight. Only Happy Gillmore had been removed. I felt like (I'm thinking Mop Girl because that's a classic 2000s J-drama, use whatever you have in your country where someone touches an artifact of the recently deceased and sees their final moments.)
His grandson had given him these movies for Christmas and he had to sit there and pretend that Happy Gilmore was actually funny by giving the occasional chortle and half sentence "well, dog-on". His grandson is called away to help with the girls cut out shapes with scissors or some dumb shit. He feels another heart attack coming and he tries to make peace with his God. But one thing is unsettling to him. As he's leaving he asks "God, why did you leave me with r-slurred spawn who actually like these movies even as children?" The response is, "OMG you actually thought I was God!?!??! I guess I pulled off that look. No, you did some white collar crime that impoverished 400 people around the world. We're going on the T-1. It looks like it's going up at first, then it's to the side, then it goes down. I know it's confusing. So while you're staying with us we will provide you with entertainment. I see on this form that you are a fan of Adam Sandler movies..."
