Former. Everything about it is so pretentious but also so badly done its funny. Like Coppla uses a bunch of old silent film techniques like vignetting, montone coloring grading, and multiple screens but the acting nor imagery isnt good enough to be on par with silent classics. Every time something surreal or unique happens a character then has to explain exactly what happened and what it means.
