This is a huge problem because black people didn't like Star Wars or Bruce Lee. Just like I can never appreciate French or German or Japanese movies. I watched that scene in Hard Boiled where he blows away 200 gangsters in a Chinese and it didn't work for me because I was thinking about race in American terms the whole time.
