All the things that I could find online are feminists 
saying the movie was written by a man because the girl just goes along with the kidnapping, but to me it's pretty obvious that the movie is a comedy, and she thinks he is such a loser

I've always liked that movie. Christina Ricci is hot, the guy who plays his r-slurred friend is funny, Vincent Gallo's character isn't very sympathetic but it's a bit like watching a car wreck.
