This doesn't feel like Dune, it feels like generic SyFy slop, "Game of Thrones was popular let's do a Game of Thrones", Bridgerton in space, CW drama with occasional spaceships. Meh.

the idea behind the bene gesserit is a bunch of uppity butt foids manipulating events, bloodlines basically everything from the shadows. They are not the "good people" in any sense of the phrase. They are shown to be corrupt, power hungry witches with extreme misandry.
Because this is modern hollywood slop that of course means they are totes the good guys and everyone else just needs to fall in line and let the yaaaasss queens slay.
The odds of this show being good were something like 3%, maybe less.

It really is unfortunate that Hollywood has created this expectation that any story revolving around a woman/women is this predictable slop. Like at this point it just makes me completely lose interest with a woman lead and it wasnt like that before 2015-ish. I almost skipped the Fallout show over it, but they managed to write an actual character
