Daily reminder that God put the rockies between B.C from the rest of us for a reason

I visited Vancouver once on an overnight trip.

The excessive homeless population reminded me of home, so that was nice.

I played "count the black people" and got to 4.

Chinese nationals were abound, lots of soccer pants and chunky shoes.

I got (more) drunk in an italian restraunt for dinner and knocked a glass of wine all over another customer. Apparently this is socially acceptable behavior because I was not removed from the establishment.

After I paid my bill in monopoly money, I engaged in mutual combat with my wife's cousin in the street. Nobody stopped to witness the display of pure masculinity so I can only assume their lack of experience produced a form of perceptual-blindness.

Upon exiting the city (shithole), I remembered that trafficing drugs across an international border is frowned upon. Some cute twink in a Miata was stopped at the light next to me with something resembling a foid in his passenger seat.

I asked:

Do you like drugs?

He says:

Huh?

Hmm.

I never looked at it that way.

Now' as a , i cant help but notice that God put a heck of a lot of ocean between us and everywhere else in the world.

They don't call Vancouver "No Fun City" for nuthin....

There's a similar but opposite reason why God put New Brunswick between Nova Scotia/PEI/Newfoundland and the rest of North America, though. Gotta keep the good times contained.
