Pronouncing names in some attempt at a foreign pronunciation is one of the more annoying wokist ideas. tho it's funny sometimes since people only really know spanish and so pronounce like indian names in a spanish accent and stuff

Everyone who does this is a hypocrite. They'll bend over backwards to respect the indigenous knowledge-keepers' ways of pronouncing Chingquiliqualik but they never pronounce "Seoul" as "Suh-uhl" or "Lebanon" as "Lubnan".
