At roughly 28M taxpayers, if we all paid an equal share, that's $1700 each. Now I'm aware taxes don't work like that as that ignores corporate taxes etc., but it does put it into perspective. You could give every taxpayer in this country $1700. Imagine what an extra $1700 would do for each of us?
