We would like to acknowledge that this hole is established on the traditional and vibrantly coloured land of Don Cherry. We recognize the many years of service and garishly coloured joy he has brought us here on Turtle Island. May we continue to celebrate the spirit of Don Cherry's land with respect and appreciation.

Corporate hierarchy is so nebulous and ill-defined that it do be that way, though. I have to assume it's because the uppers want to enforce their own little wankfest instead of just bapping a message to the right person with a quick "FWD" like literally every reasonable person does.

I misread this as 'work ethnic' and was confused, because work ethnic is when you repair rust by cutting it out, gluing a coke can over the hole and filling it up with body filler/bondo.

A repair we did to a buddy's car when his heat shield fell off. He's probably done the exhaust by now with some tube and hose clamps.

Put a plastic bag between the aluminum can and the steel nut and you'll never have that problem again.
I do something similar on my cars preemptively.

If it looks stupid but works it ain't stupid. I ripped the rubber boot on my prop shaft while wheeling so I refilled it with axle grease, wrapped it up in a trash bag and gaffer tape. Lasted a week till I got around to fixing it

I prefer to put a piece of cardboard in the hole and then backfill with expanding foam before applying bondo
